Meanwhile, Fat Old Dad’s Christmas Show took place in a very cosy Halstead Empire.         Charismatic lead man Geoff dressed up as Tina Turner and ‘Flower Power Man, multi-skilled Martin looked wonderful in white playing guitar, banjo and harmonica, drummer. Simon jammed energetically and bass guitarist Rownsey did a mean Tom Robinson. They really created a spirit in the sky.  This band’s spirit seems indestructible.  PAT  RUDKINS – Halstead Gazette
